Gentle Yoga At wild rice retreat

For strength and flexibility; greater mobility and stability; less stress, more resiliency. A well-rounded class for the end of your day and the start of your evening, and for support as we move into colder weather and the Holiday season. A creative blend of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Restorative Yoga styles accessible to most. This is not a chair yoga class. Participants should be able to sit on the floor, stand, and recline. Check with me if you’re unsure if it’s right for you.

All levels yoga at Washburn Meditation center

Ongoing class. For strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Blending traditional with innovative yoga, with a focus on the breath. Includes a variety of poses presented in both foundational beginning and intermediate forms, so that beginners may feel welcome and develop confidence and continuing students can grow their practice.

Yoga for All Bodies at the hub, bayfield

On hiatus. New series begins October 16 and runs through December 18. A blend of traditional and modern yoga (#yoga revolution) for all bodies and all levels of experience. Vinyasa, Restorative, Ashtanga are presented in both foundational beginning and intermediate forms, so that beginners may feel welcome and develop confidence and continuing students can grow their practice. Props and support for all levels of experience will be provided. Participants should be able to practice downward dog with hands or forearms on a yoga mat. ($12 drop-in; $50 for 5; $90 for 10)

11-12 (4 weeks)

chair yoga + chi gung at the hub, bayfield (New series begins November 6)

Four week series. Yoga for strength and mobility, combined with the gentle flowing  movements of Chi Gung to connect with the internal fluidity of one's life force. These practices cultivate and renew internal energy while also improving balance, vitality and awareness of body. These traditional forms of movement bring greater mental clarity and inner tranquility.
